@Crudux Cruo. Light/Crimson here, I'm just here to thank you for sharing my old video using your mod.

About the mod itself I can say it was a pretty fun ride, I did find it funny that you could heal yourself via Smoking and Drinking but the gunplay for the most part held up quite well. the odd encounter where things required a rocket launcher only to receive the sniper rifle instead made things a little tricky but for the most part it's pretty fun.

Even opening up the mod and messing around with the graphics kinda helped me understand how modding worked for the most part "explains the edited graphics I used for the vid". But enough about that.

The long and short of it is, The mod was pretty cool and well I personally wouldn't mind seeing some of those other projects.

Glad you're back on track with lethaldoom. Drinking and Smoking to heal your health in tactical situation was very ingenious. But it could've been better with these suggestions:

- MGL's first person sprite got cut off during raising animation.

- When i zoom with any weapon, i can't do anything at all except firing. I tried to switch into other weapons or reload. But you have to press Weapon Zoom key to disable it, and then do something.

Speaking of Zoom, M60 have no zooming animation and M4A1 is just sensitive with it.

- I feel quite the same about the Sniper Rifle having no explosive damage or something. Maybe making the hitscan explosive might be great.

- And this one's like a suggestion: Would be more effective yet lethal if i could stun smaller to medium enemies by throwing the bottle or exhale nicotine smoke right in their face.

I should explain a little better, i'm currently working on a NEW MOD. But i just thought it was cool someone bothered doing a play through so I just wanted to give a shout out to TheLightBad96 and bring this up for fans of the mod, to let them know I am in the works on a new project and to stay tuned :D

To talk a little about this potential mod, I wanted to make a weapons mod that CONDENSES weapons and makes them more useful with less weapon shuffling, while REBALANCING them to play a little nicer with modern palates. All the sprites are original based on sketchfab artist renderings, and sounds are fresh and crispy :) It would be a universal weapons mod with no reloading, but with reasonably tactical aiming and firing similar to lethal doom. I cant reveal too much here, but I will be sure to make a post when i've approached alpha status!

two things i just noticed
1. the gun when not in use has a pixel on the right side at the bottom, the same detail when you aim, there is a pixel on the left side of the top.
2. (I had already noticed this even so) when using the shotgun a sprite of what appears to be something green appears in the upper left corner sometimes

These are the only two things I have found when playing both with mods and just using LD

A suggestion, it's uncomfortable to use the shotgun sometimes because of the reload, maybe it would be nice to make it faster or to do it in fewer steps.



I took some recordings and made cuts and captures but I can't attach them :cry:
