Something I toyed with off and on for a while: remaking Arkista's Ring to be not boring. A galactic shogun is expanding his territory and crushing the allied forces with the help of countless collaborators, which are being rounded up and executed by the Allies. One such collaborator, a space bumpkin named Christine, is given the choice between a firing squad or braving the most hostile planet in the galaxy to steal a mystic artifact.

You know, I first read "A galactic shotgun is expanding his territory" and that made the thing a lot more interestingly weird than it ended up being after rereading.

It's only because I read your post, and then went back to check the original three times that I finally read it correctly!
Uses a flow map texture to determine movement direction, and adjusts the normal map dynamically with the direction and velocity of water flow. Also samples another texture for the surface debris/foam, which moves with the water and 'collects' in areas with slower moving water. Loops seamlessly.
