Austerity | Remaster | v3.0 released

Post by Tormentor667 »

After the first release of a long remaster series has been done and it's successor is under development, the next project with less complexity is already underway: Austerity. There isn't so much to be done about it except a few improvements, fixes and enhancements but overall v2.1 back in 2011 so the most work will be cosmetic stuff. If you have any suggestions, I am looking forward to these :)

Contribute to these remasters makes me feel very happy, I started long time ago modding thanks to these projects and I am learning now some zscript... At least it is a progress!

It's been a while, hasn't it? (v:

I'd like to remind you that you don't have my clear to do with my old work as you please, seeing that my torches from another one of your projects (noticing new script) found my way in here, albeit uncredited yet which isn't the point. I'll excuse it since it's done this one time. Consider this a preventive measure before realising any funnier ideas with my actually significant work from the past.

Also, if you are going to credit me, it's KeksDose. Mind the D.

Excuses for that, credits have been updated :) The code was updated for the TCotD2 remaster by Ozymandias and Nash and then ported over to Austerity. I didn't know that there are still code segments from you, so it wasn't on purpose.

Not code, but I just saw what resembled something I made (with the same sprites), so I had to make sure! Like this it remains nothing, but it could've been worse when unchecked, so thanks for looking into it. It was very important. (v: Use the stuff I made for your projects in any of your remakes if you like.

KeksDose: Only the sprites are re-used (and even then not all of it - the old way had several sprites to simulate scale and rotation. I got rid of them and do all that now via code, so the flames use only 1 sprite now), and the ZScript was written 100% from scratch by me, for TCOTD2 remake. Ozy simply ported over that code to this project.

You are of course entitled to the credits for the sprites, but the code is written by me. I am granting special license, only for my code, for the remake projects that Tormentor667 is doing.

This is still not about credits, although I did ask as a form of courtesy.

The point was to make it clear any work, including whatever subset this is based on, I did for Tormentor's mods in the past should remain in them. I don't care about the rest. Having such a thing pop up in unrelated projects makes me extra careful.
