Cocos2d question

So, Visual Studio have native Cocos2d support. Cocos2d is a 2D game engine, if someone dont know.
Question, is it good or bad? I mean, I heard from it for the first time and only from Visual Studio installer options. Yes, I already read several articles about it, but opinion from the "first hands" worth for me more than even hundred articles.

And also why Visual Studio have native support for it? It that good?!
