Cross-Capatability
So, I'm making a Discord-based Doom-Connector of some sort. And to make it easier for tons of people (especially when the server is still beginning), I was wondering if ZDoom and GZDoom etc. were cross-playable. Just wanted to ask.
Re: Cross-Capatability
They are not.
Everyone must be using the exact same version of the exact same port.
The only cross-play that is supported is if for instance you want to play a multiplayer game with a Mac, a Linux, and a Windows machine together. Cross-architecture (i.e. PC and Raspberry Pi) works as well. As long as everyone is playing the same version of the same port, it should work just fine.
