I don't actually know if this is possible or is already in the sourceport but you should change the automaps player icon with a sprite of the character like the build engine games

I can't use portable medikit via quickuse key.

There is a random problem where GZDoom randomly unbinds the custom keys (at least for me). Make sure it's actually binded. I'll look into it tomorrow and release a hotfix.namsan wrote:I can't use portable medikit via quickuse key.

Hello. Recently downloaded this and I'm enjoying it a lot, a looot. Playing it right now with Sunlust. One thing is really grinding my gears, though, and it's the small squish noise that plays when an enemy dies and their body falls from a certain height. It sounds incredibly unfitting, like it shouldn't be coming from 180+ pound bodies, but from a leaky faucet. It plays every time someone dies from a super shotgun blast, but if it's gonna do that, it shouldn't sound the way it does. I'm not saying get rid of the falling body noise wholesale, but a replacement would be nice.

I have released a hotfix. Changes include:
- Imps and Demons can now drop off ledges to prevent them from getting stuck
- Fixed the Portable Medkit bind not working

Buuuuuuuuuuug report: The archvile seems to get stuck when trying to resurrect enemies. He also can't resurrect them properly

I was playing Doom 2: Reloaded, and there were 2 instances where and archvile was attempting to resurrect an enemy, which I think was a shotgunner in both instances, and was just stuck in his resurrection animation and inable to ressurect him. If I remember correctly, he was in kind of a cramped spot both times, so that could be it. I don't believe I have any other mods loaded that could be causing this issue, but I'll look into it when I get the chance

The reviving animations is always guranteed to last a second. Maybe there wasn't enough space to revive the enemy? There's also other issues such as monsters getting stuck while still being able to shoot. Kind of a suggestion, but considering how Build engine games had their protagonists spout one-liners, why not use Doomguy’s cut lines from Quake 3 Revolution?
Honestly, it sounds like a mix of Duke Nukem and Caleb, with a dash of Clint Eastwood in there.
