an attempt at a doom3 style "shredded -by-shotgun" death. is odd on its own but great with lots of bloodmist/jib actors added.
makes an ok alternative for an xdeath too I suppose? i dunno. do as you will!

based off of that cultist xdeath from blood...

Really well done, i liked it!

Ok, this is the final version of our Spetsnaz-AK (i promise this is the last edit, i know i flooded the entire page with it  ), now being a variant of the AK-74M:

And featuring a drum magazine:

*I used Blood's tommy gun drum on the second sheet, just made some changes. Also used some heavy edits made by vólentiæn.

Coming back to old stuff of mine. I know it's not strictly sprites only, but I have to show it in motion:

Randomized, additive muzzle flashes, camera texture as scope gimmick.

How the Hell did you get that camera scope thing working!?!? That's really impressive I didnt know it was possible to pull off something like that.

Oh, that's actually quite easy: You can setup a CameraTexture in ANIMDEFS, call it via ACS and render it on screen with HudMessage (and there is probably a ZScript variant of that). :)

It doesn't work well with weapon bob though, so I turned that off. The CRT-scanlines come from an animated overlay below the CameraTexture (which itself is set to additive and alpha 0.9).

Did a thing. It could be improved (chase animation looks bad), but it's fairly complete otherwise. It's based on a recolored Bruiser, so I've included that too. I don't think I will be working on it anymore - recreating the Afrit's smooth walking frames is beyond my limited skills....

I opted not to use Hellstorm Archon's death animation because it wouldn't recolor the way I wanted it.

Made some changes on the famous RoTT pistol:

The rear part was taken from MadTux's Makarov sprites.
