THE POWER LEVELS FOR DOOM 2! (from doomworld) (ON HOLD)
I haven't gotten any work done on this for a while now. Chocolate Doom keeps crashing, and Map26 does not want to run. Until I can find out how to make the map run, this WAD will be cancelled until further notice. Hopefully I will find a solution soon, but for now, development has ceased.
this is an unofficial expansion pack for doom 2. why an expansion pack? it adds new monsters to vanilla with dehacked without replacing them.

EDIT: I am moving this project over to the ZDoom forums for the forseeable future. Why? I was banned from doomworld (i'm really sorry for what i've done) and i want to keep the Power Levels alive so it can see the light of day on release. (working on beta 2.3 now in SLADE). In the meantime, please give feedback on this megawad. I really enjoy seeing people's feedback on my work.
Beta 2.3: Cocytus update.
well, here is MAP23, after the old one got deleted. it was custom ice and snow textures, and a custom MIDI track i can't get to play for some reason.

Beta 2.4 Cocytus Fissure update.
here is beta 2.4 with MAP24 added and MAP23 hopefully fixed. MAP24 picks up where MAP23 left off, with doomguy almost freezing to death and recovered by a mysterious stranger.

Beta 2.5 Ice Shrine update.
Finally. After months of procrastination, and many hours of building this map, I finally released beta 2.5. I don't think development will continue until I get "into" mapping again. Don't worry. As Sonic would say; "Leaving a project unfinished forever is WAY past not cool!" so I will make the remaining 7 levels. Maybe if Gman or Civvie make another Doom video, or D4V gets another update, that might create the "spark" I'm looking for. Or I could just force myself to make maps at gunpoint. That could work too.

i am currently facing a technical issue with MAP23. whenever i test it in Chocolate Doom, i get this error that says "W_LumpLength: 2943 >= numlumps".
what does this mean, and how can i fix it?

Open the file in a WAD manager program and see if the map in question has a NODES lump attached to it. If it doesn't, they need to be built - that should be achievable easily enough in Doom Builder.

okay. ZenNode is loaded, but i keep getting the same error message, but instead of "2943" it's "2946". what am i doing wrong?

i think i figured out the problem. whenever i open the console in slade and run Chocolate Doom, this message appears:

i think my nodebuilder is behind this. what should i do?
