This week's Fwiggin Epic Gamer Freebie is EVERYTHING!!!

No. That doesn't mean everything on the store. It means Everything, the amusing and curious art game where you roll elephants around while Alan Watts natters in your ear.

EDIT: Also at EGS: Metro 2033 Redux

The base, unexpanded Destiny 2 is now free-to-play as part of the game's migration from Battle.net The Blizzard Launcher Battle.net to Steam. You probably won't be able to play it for now, though, on account of literal millions of people simultaneously slamming the servers, but hey, can't hurt to add it to your library.

This week's Epic freebie is Surviving Mars. The "Mysteries Resupply Pack" and "Space Race" DLCs are also free, but not automatically included, you'll have to get them manually (and one at a time, since The Fwiggin' Epic Gamer Store Powered By Tencent doesn't have a shopping cart!)

Princess Remedy 2: In A Heap Of Trouble is free until noon on October 15 as part of Steam's LGBTQ+ Sale.

The first game is always free, so you might as well complete the set, right?

There's a hidden mini Wolfenstein-like game as an Easter egg in Remedy 2. You can find the hint about it if you explore the world a little bit after defeating the endgame boss.

Crusader Kings II is now free on Steam. There's no end date and the banner was changed to add "FREE TO PLAY" on it, so this is probably permanent.

So, what's the catch? Simple: Only the base game is free. The 15 expansion packs aren't.

Update: Signing up for the newsletter for updates on the just-announced sequel will score you a free copy of the Old Gods expansion, which allows you to practice Viking Boat Crime.

The Timmer is the Gift That Keeps On Taking (and then tries to say "sorry for that", every week) and is offering Q.U.B.E. 2 and Layers of Fear.

Your next EGS batch of stuff you probably won't ever play, regardless of quality, is SOMA and Costume Quest.

For various boring business reasons, the iOS port of Bastion had to be pulled and re-released as a seperate app in order to be properly updated for modern devices. To help people with the old app move over to the new one (and to celebrate the game's 10th anniversary) this new port is free until the end of the year. Be sure to get the "Unlock - $0.00" download in the game itself to avoid missing out!

Non-Epic freebies? Madness.

Company of Heroes 2 is free for the weekend, and the expansion pack can be attained for free by signing up to some newsletter or other.

In addition, the Crusader Kings 2 (which is also free now!) expansion pack Sword of Islam is also free this weekend.
