Joey and Bashe, I have you guys covered. Just found a working copy of strain on my machine so I installed the dehacked patch into strain.wad and zipped it. Zdoom will load the patch from within the wad so all you need to do is zdoom -file strain.wad and away you go. Get it here: http://home.earthlink.net/~mjblakely/data/
Kirby, don't you see what I just posted? I took care of the problem for him, zipped strain.wad with the deh patch embedded and posted it for download. Why shouldn't he just grab it and go?Kirby wrote:Joey, you can't just open the .001 files and such. When it's numbered like that it usually means that the file/files they are holding are seperated, and opening them will give you an error. If the .bat is closing on you, I would suggest trying to run it with a DOS emulator, such as VDMSound

Re: WinAce: CRC Error, Must be Corrupted Archive
Oh! That explains it! Download the zip Biff put up instead.Joeyxp2 wrote:Winzip doesn't support LZH files as when I tried to open
strain.001 it says:
When working with LZH files the "Extract" operation requires the LHA external program. This program is not installed or improperly installed.
I am currently using Winzip 9.0 Registered
I also can not open strain.002- .004 because the format is not compatible.
