  • If no to the previous one, did I put a reasonable amount of work into the resource myself, such that the changes are noticeably different from the source that I could take credit for them?

[14/01/2020] The Kin Bin

Sometimes I gather up resources that don't deserve their own thread. This thread, in keeping with the recent trend for grab-bag resource dumps, is for those resources.

Image
A transparent TITLEPIC cutout, by way of 32X Doom.

ImageImage
Crouching possessed, based off of an older version of the ZDoom player crouch sprite by Enjay.

ImageImage
Sky textures taken from Doom 2016.

Vroom Vroom Car - Video Demo
It car. Car with placeholder art from JPF. There's some half-finished code to have a Chaingunner glued to the back riding shotgun, but getting it to rotate to look at the player independent of the vehicle was something I never figured out. Math.

ImageImageImageImageImage
Wolfenstein 3D textures tweaked to loop better vertically, so as to look a little less awful in a Doom-styled map.

Image
Door texture unique to the Saturn version of Quake 1. Similar to a texture from the PC version, but without any slopey bits, and as such better suited to polyobject doors.

Unreal Tournament 1999 - PS2 Announcer Voices
Additional announcer voice-overs from the PS2 version of UT99. A couple of these had to be recorded from the game directly, as ripping them gave me a broken file for some reason.

Image
Doom (2018 Re-Release) Stuff
A dump of assets unique to the modern Unity-wrapped console/mobile ports of Doom!

Image
Just for fun... Wolf3D textures with the alternate Germany-friendly icon from Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus's German release, as well as the secret levels of the Unity-wrapped Doom 2 re-release.

Image
The HUD face from Quake 2 Test. Not a lot of people seem to know about this!

Also of Potential Interest:
All the shit from Gloom Deluxe, an Amiga Doom clone you'll prob. never play
A bunch of fonts in a format that the localisation stuff almost immediately obsoleted

This looks very interesting, Mr. Kinsie. I especially like the crouching possessed soldiers.

I tried firing a shotgun like that once upon a time.

I like the vroom vroom car. I think I'll find a good use for it...

I love how taking a picture, nay, a photo, that is still clearly Hitler and Photoshopping off his moustache is considered enough for that second texture.
