Cyberpunk 2077 has a partial release date and a new trailer!
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 has a partial release date and a new trai
I am, I sucked the shit out of Witcher 3 and I am curious about what they can pull off in an original setting.
However, it's preorder price is a bit high in my country, so I'll wait until it releases and for a discount.

It's not original, it's based on the old Cyberpunk tabletop game. Can't say I was a big fan of the Witcher games, and while the game definitely looks pretty, I can't see anything gameplay or story wise that's blowing me away. The inclusion of Keanu Reeves seems a bit random since he's not that big of a name in the cyberpunk genre, it's like a celebrity for celebrity's sake (sure he was in the Matrix movies and Johnny Mnemonic, but only 1/3rd of the Matrix movies are worth talking about and Johnny Mnemonic hardly set the world alight).affandede wrote:I am, I sucked the shit out of Witcher 3 and I am curious about what they can pull off in an original setting.

I for one loved the Witcher games (particularly III), despite all their misogyny and cack-handed attempts at showing us that they were not misogynistic. WIII was one of the few modern titles I have found worth playing; I sunk a few hundred hours into it, loved the mission packs and had one absolute completionist run through of the game (curse you random smugglers dumps around Skellige, I found you all).
I also love Cyberpunk as a setting and genre and I even like the role playing game. So, I am pretty hopeful for this game but I also approach it with the healthy level of caution that I would for any modern title. That video looks great, but it doesn't tell me anything more about gameplay than I already knew.
The inclusion of Keanu is neither here nor there for me. He seems to be a cool guy and he has been in some great films (some of my favourites) but his presence is unlikely to make or break the game for me.

Spoiler:We'll see I guess.

I hope the minimum system requirements for this game listed online is only for the unoptimized E3 demo. Because if it's:
i7 8700k
16 Gig RAM
GTX 1080TI
Win 10
I'll need a whole new computer just to play it at minimum.
