Well known. There's a splash that says "Map11 has two names". Which is true for Doom 2: "Circle of Death" and "O' of Destruction!"

Indeed that is not something new, while I love minecraft for what it is and those little hidden references (like the one that used to be until recently for the cake and the lie as a portal reference, and these doom references) just made it better for meHellser wrote:Well known. Notch actually has a Doomworld forums account that he posted on long before Minecraft came out.

It's crazy to see how far he has come since 2002. I wish I could stay dedicated to development like this guy could.
