Re: DoomRL Arsenal - [1.1] [MP-B7.0]
I've updated my soundmod, which involved removing about a quarter of it due to the changes in file structure. Fortunately, said changes should make it easier to add stuff in future.

I know that. I've picked up three different types, and I haven't gotten a single assembly. The only assembly I have in my list is the High Power one, and that's only because I built it myself.Someone64 wrote:There's a specific type of computer area map that sometimes spawns that contain blueprints. There are different computer area maps that can spawn in general. Just gotta hope RNG gives you a blueprint one.
EDIT: I finally had one give out an assembly... on Map26. Do the ones with the red screen no longer give you three assemblies now?

Thank you for putting my mod in the OP Yholl! Perhaps I'll get to work on an update sooner...

It was the blue ones that did that, and no they don't anymore. It was in the changelog.Bofubutt wrote:I know that. I've picked up three different types, and I haven't gotten a single assembly. The only assembly I have in my list is the High Power one, and that's only because I built it myself.

Speaking of, the changelog said that there was an increase in the rarity of "secret Revenant communication". Yholl-sama, what the heck is/was that?
Re: DoomRL Arsenal - [1.1] [MP-B7.0]
There's something strange going on with tactical armor and tactical boots. First of all, the boots allow me to run immediately after teleporting instead of making me get stuck for a bit before being able to move like vanilla behavior. Second, I wouldn't go invisible from blur spheres until I removed my tactical armor. I'm not sure if this is a bug with set bonuses or just tactical armor by itself but the second I removed my tactical armor (I removed my boots first, though), I went invisible. Not sure if this only affects me visually or actually makes it so that the blur sphere does nothing for a while. Putting both armors on again while invisible still kept me invisible.
EDIT: The bug is pretty consistent at least. Can confirm that every blur sphere I pick up while wearing tactical armor causes the invisible visual effect to not show.

There is a typo in commented line in fist.txt
line 292 should be "RIGHT UPPERCUT" (but is "left uppercut")

Congrats for the update.
Could you please provide a Drive or Dropbox mirror? I'd really like to play the new version but greyserv (and mediafire) domain is blocked on my dormitory's net for some reason I honestly don't know.

Given it only requires a ZDoom 2.8.1-based port to work, it should work fine, but controlling the mod with touch controls is going to be very awkward at best - I hope you're using some kind of external controller or Bluetooth keyboard.LOLANONIMUS wrote:Hello the mod can work on ports on android?

Found out last night the update dropped, and ended staying up WAY too late. But the update is solid, love just about every small detail that was added. Ya did good Yholl, very good job

Hello!
Thank you and your team for hard work.
I have a request: can you enable in next update vanilla doom marine without any traits?
I really enjoy clean character, makes things more challenging and you appreciate drops more.
Long time ago you helped me achieve this in 1.05 so can you help me again?

In DRLA Options -> Arsenal Options, look for this setting:Baconator wrote:Hello!

i have to say, i really appreciate the QoL changes in this version, particularly with the character specific buffs.
the Renegade is a lot more fun to play as now with the free shot perk, it really combos well with the single fire shotguns, and the fixed heavy shotguns makes him noticeable less gimped when it comes to weapon options.
the changes to all the chainguns is REALLY nice too, as it makes the minigun for the Marine a much more desirable object by making it more useful overall, as well as the powerup buff.
i also noticed that most of the storm pistols seems to auto to slot 3, which is good for the Scout, making his inventory a lot less cluttered, and the plasma pistols now properly match up to other, heavier plasma weaponry.
so far, i haven't really stumbled across anything that seems particularly broken, aside from weapon recoil not being on certain weapons, such as the burst uzi. i'm having a lot of fun with 1.1, and it shows that you've put a lot of work and love into this
(i haven't even mentioned the PDA yet, but man, it really is spiffy. it's pretty satisfactory filling out the assembly list).
