Status Update:
I've just been offered a job in another city and will be moving in the next two weeks. So I'll have to wait until I'm settled in before making any major updates.
The New Hellsmith has been colored, posed and ripped, and is now in the spriting phase. It's got about double the usual frames with 8-rotations each and the sprites are substantially larger than the last batch of boss-monsters. Depending on my available free-time, it'll probably take me 2-weeks to finish. Will be finishing up the final map and necessary textures afterwards.
List of To-Dos:

1) Player sprites
2) Title, Intermission, and Info pic.
3) pre-teched-up Hellduke, Director, and Behemoth props for map HF1M5's stasis tanks.
4) Some bubble generator props.
5) Appropriate status Bar and mugshots
6) Defining the Hellforge big and small fonts (graphics already completed).

SWEET LORD OF MERCY this thing's a beast!! A Heavily armed Semi-Metallic Beast! Really nice work on those animations. Your skill hasn't faded away, is it not? Good luck and can't wait to see more of it!

Absolutely outstanding work man. Real reminiscent of the duke3d overlord attack in there too. Nice! Like a cyberdemon, maulotaur and the overlord had a three-way and this is the awesome offspring of such an unholy union! Love it! Fear it too... It's gonna a be a good boss battle I'm sure...

The coloring is a bit weird on the smith, he is too dark and some of his features blend together. His horns for example blend into the shoulder cannons.

Seeing the group together, however, reminded me of something. This guy...
has always struck me as being a bit off somehow. It's something to do with his head. I'm not entirely sure what. Perhaps a slightly longer neck to raise it up is required? Or maybe something to make it look like he has more of a chin; his face looks very far behind his chest - like it is attached to his body too far back? Or something.
