Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Putting Sprite Noob's sexy dame to good use, since Dr. Chaos is set post-WWI.

Dr. Chaos? You mean the NES game?... Well yeah! 20th Century mixed with Fantasy Genre sounds pretty great and promising!
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
I touched up the rocket launcher, finished the plasma rifle, and did a quick mockup of a BFG frame. I kind of hit a dead end on how to deal with the BFG's chest chassis and how to do the walking frames for each weapon, so this is likely the last I'll do.

Finals starting soon, so I figured I'd post a preview of my Spider Mastermind re-edit before I die from stress, any suggestions?
Please note, this is still a Work in Progress.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
I DID make a Robocop HUD face once that I posted in this very thread. (there's a little inconsistency in the light source on the side facing frames, but bleh)ImpieTwo wrote:Someone took a poor stab at it for wolfenstein 3d about ten years ago and never finished it. But those sprites are all done. They have all animation frames viewed from one angle, and I implemented them in Decorate, too.
I've also started on a player sprite, and the pistol that I haven't finished yet(and never posted them here actually). So, here they are c:

That's pretty awesome man. Any chance you have them as individual files? Otherwise I'll just cut the sheet up myself eventually.HorrorMovieGuy wrote:I DID make a Robocop HUD face once that I posted in this very thread.
It is and it isn't. The premise I was going for was similar to the NES game in the sense that it involved inter-dimensional tomfoolery and the idea of a mad scientist who has to be saved by his less crazy brother. Beyond those plot points and the characters' surname (which was too cool not to borrow) theyre not related. I don't even remember what the original game's cause for the portals was, only that it was basically an NES port of the horror movie House that got its title and story changed last minute or something (ever notice how all the "alternate dimensions" resemble vietnam?). So I guess it could be considered a remake that turns it into something of its own thing rather than a House ripoff.Captain J wrote:Dr. Chaos? You mean the NES game?... The original three maps are here.

I'm sorry, I actually don't. I was gonna use them in an eventual Robocop gameplay mod, but I never got around to as I lost interest, so there's only that sheet now. But if you don't mind cutting them, feel free to use it!ImpieTwo wrote: That's pretty awesome man. Any chance you have them as individual files? Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
don't think this has been done yet but correct me if wrong.
I've made some alternatives of the hanging bodies based off of the body_1 wall texture. quite reminiscent of the quake-crucified-zombies. can obviously be used as either a patch or a sprite:
