Sprite brightness in sectors targeted by floor/ceiling light transfer specials is set wrongly. It's supposed to be the average of the floor and ceiling brightnesses, but it only takes the light level of the floor, even if the thing is high away from the floor.

Known issue. Unfortunately only fixable by compatibility option because far too many ZDoom mods depend on this behavior. This change was made intentionally in ZDoom's early days, btw, because a certain person liked it better this way...

In any case, in Softpoly video mode there is a bug: the sprites only get the sector's light level.

It's not the only bug in Softpoly. There's reasons why it is declared "experimental"...
