What I really want to know is why, out of all ~5600 textures included in the mod (the deletion of which shrinks the file size to a mere 39 megs), why are none of them used? It's mostly just brown walls, and in the second to last level, the brick texture from Wolfenstein. Literally at no point are any custom textures used (that I can see).

It isn't stated anywhere that this is a parody. Further, I don't see how including 160+ MB worth of totally unused content is funny enough to be called that.el armadillo2 wrote:Do you even know what a parody is?Doominer441 wrote: blablablalblabla

Oh boy, there's just so many of these to list...Vostyok wrote:What is this a parody of?
Here's some that i remember:
Doom: Rampage Edition
Swanfox 1 and 2
Cyberdoom Z and Cyberdoom X collection
Futurwar
Classic Rivalry
Basically, poorly done mods filled with STARTAN textures, thousands of unnecessary ZDoom features, thousands of unnecessary assets from Realm667 and anime-esque cutscenes with tons of Engrish.
Also, the title screen makes it VERY obvious this isn't supposed to be serious.
Neither is trapping you into a room with Brad Carney's face everywhere and spamming sounds and text at you, yet look at how many mods like that there are.wildweasel wrote: It isn't stated anywhere that this is a parody. Also, the original UACMN did something like that too.
