Trying to play TNT but we've tried Doom 2 and it's had the same results.

Yeah it's just a quirk of those two wads. I've got three coop patch wads in my folder -one each for Doom 2, TNT, and Plutonia, the last one I think was because of screwy monster spawns. Like, Cyberdemon in Map01. Most others should work fine without help.

Any wad or Iwad with deathmatch weapons spawns them no matter what when running DoomRL, so even stuff like Alien Conflict is broken.
I'd love to also get a link to those patches too.

Kazinsal's the one that put them together, so I can't be completely certain exactly what was done, but I'm pretty sure it was just removing the deathmatch weapons and fixing Plutonia's enemy spawns.

Hello. I tried launching RpgDoom with GZDoom 2.1.1 and the Rl mods. but of course, it gives me some errors

Hi, new to the whole RPG, RL wads in general. how exactly do you run them? trying to run DoomRPG from the github, DoomRLA, and Legendoom and have no idea how to put these together. people spoke of command lines but dunno what to do, and the launcher doesn't exist. sorry for bothering you

I've used DoomRPG and DoomRLA+Monsters pretty extensively. Use DoomRPG's launcher. With some fiddling you can figure out the procedure. As LegenDoom is a weapon mod I'm fairly certain you can't use it *AND* DRLA at the same time. You *might* be able to use LegenDoomLite, which if I remember correctly, just makes legendary monsters, but that aspect might break DRPG elements. Hi! I just learned this mod exists, and it's really cool, but I have a few questions.
I can't pick up armor helmets or special backpacks. What do I need to do to use them?
Is there documentation anywhere? I couldn't pick up the grey boxes and assumed they were exotic ammo for a weapon I didn't have, until I accidentally shot some on Dead Simple and realized they were supply crates. Who knows what else I don't know?
Is there a working Discord invite link somewhere? It'd probably be better for me to ask questions there.
I'm using GZDoom 3.5.1. I heard that DoomRLA was forward compatible, but if there's a specific version the community recommends for this I'd love to know.

Armor bonuses are for repairing your armor. They restore about 25% each. Some armors can't be repaired, though.

special backpacks are interacted with the use key. hitting it once tells you what it does, and hitting it twice picks it up.

hey man you see you are very new in rla , do not worry I was the same and everything I got to trial and error, for objects like backpacks you can not pick them up unless you use the "use" button (with which you open the doors ) each one is different from the previous example some are for ammunition in specific as shells or rockets and others .... I think you can only take one special backpack at a time if you find another you will let go but if you find a backpack like the doom , works the same, more ammunition! while the armor bonus recover your armor that equips you if it is damaged :3
