Any chance you'll include a full change log of everything in that future update? It would be super helpful for bugtesting.PillowBlaster wrote:Was an oversight that I didn't notice ever since, meaning the spell is pretty dang powerful with or without it. Whatever, fixed for the next update.
I'm keeping a paper log of everything I find and trying to report it at intervals that won't seem nagging, and I'll send the full thing to you in .txt format soon (if you'd rather I report everything I find as I find it to you immediately I can do so instead).

I have a question, could someone explain to me how I absorb draugh's clone which I got? I tried to use this instruction but I still can not do it

Re: The Guncaster - 3.0
It confused me as well. Hold the use button while using the item, for me this is hold E, press C.erni945 wrote:I have a question, could someone explain to me how I absorb draugh's clone which I got? I tried to use this instruction but I still can not do it

Well, I also have a button of use (opening the door) on E and when this clone is active and tries to hold the E button it does not work

Okay! Here's the TV Tropes page!
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/ ... /Guncaster
It is definitely in its infancy. I'm very new at creating wiki pages, so this is bound to be pretty rough. If anybody feels like pitching in, then I would be very grateful.

I am not a tvtropes expert, but you should concentrate less on describing how stuff works and make it a humorous article that picks out the tropes. For BFG you'd want to solely concentrate on the gun that literally is take on BFG, just taken to even more extreme levels. Maybe add on top of that Prism Laser which is a reference to BFG from yet another game, and... you can really pile things up if you get creative with it. I think Trailblazer and RO ones are doing pretty good job at that, so you should emulate those.fire238 wrote:Okay! Here's the TV Tropes page!

Hold the use button while activating the item, not afterwards. Here's me not wanting to make a separate item and emphasize on how this button gets more uses in this mod.erni945 wrote:Well, I also have a button of use (opening the door) on E and when this clone is active and tries to hold the E button it does not work
I've been always showing backlogs for this mod for each update, except for initial release as I didn't keep track of things, so I guess yes?Dinosaur_Nerd wrote:Any chance you'll include a full change log of everything in that future update? It would be super helpful for bugtesting.

I'd appreciate being frequent with things. The earlier I know about something being broken, the faster I'll fix it.
I just play this with whatever strikes me fancy at the moment. I'd say Hellbound, Slaughterfest 2012 or Scythe 2 are my goto choices. There's also Ultimate Doom 2 but that's not finished yet, just in case.RedoLane wrote:I think you missed my questionRedoLane wrote: On that note, which wads would you recommend to try it on?

Today was just to get the ball rolling. I want to do Guncaster justice, so your feedback is very appreciated, Pillow.
Anyone who would like to make edits or additions are more than welcome.

Good update. The Strife support is actually pretty nice. My only minor complaint about it is that it's pretty easy to kill Important NPCs with certain weapons. I somehow manage to kill the Keymaster with the upgraded Longhorn.

Cool, I didn't know where to look for the logs, sorry for confusion.PillowBlaster wrote:I've been always showing backlogs for this mod for each update, except for initial release as I didn't keep track of things, so I guess yes?

I've discovered the secret spell (which is incredible, by the way), but I haven't quite figured this out yet: how does the shout chance slider in Here be Dragons affect things?

Hmm, not sure what I could do about that. The chain-shot prolly does not discern neutrals from foes, and I am not aware if there's a way to discern such.GeneralDelphox wrote:Good update. Yeah. The higher the number, the higher the chance to get a quote while using it.Wivicer wrote:I've discovered the secret spell (which is incredible, by the way), but I haven't quite figured this out yet: how does the shout chance slider in Here be Dragons affect things?
Third party addons causing problems is not my concern. You'll have a better luck asking Mikk about it. If he'll want to cooperate with me to make it work, we could see what we can do!Evil Operative wrote:Was the error I posted looked at? Its in Page 121.
Re: The Guncaster - 3.0
First and foremost, thanks PB and team for the awesome mod! Who needs balance when it's fun?
Here's a couple bugs I found that haven't been reported thus far (I think).
When playing Hexen, the shop will reset on moving from from hub 1 to hub 2. This happens with items such as artifacts (heavy boots in example) as well as the secret spell. Spawning and grabbing the items again will not make them appear in the shop.
The gloves in Cygnis' hands aren't golden when ledgegrabbing with Midas Tome active.
Thank you and hope you don't lose more of your sanity!
