Oh yes! New Stuff!! And it's gonna be astonishingly amazing if you can share us a full sprite sheet of this cutie. Nice work mang!Shoehead wrote:I dunno if anyone remembers this guy but I finally found some time to finish off his regular sprites
I'm doing his brightmaps at the moment, and then? I'm actually not sure what anyone does with assets they've finished, is there somewhere to dump 'em for people to use with credit?

It's a good base for a Lewis Gun, which nobody's ever made for Doom for some reason.edgymemester wrote: american180.png

Maybe because it's a little obscure and little-known. It's the first time I've heard of it. It is not as famous (or infamous) as, say, the Thompson or the Uzi.

Willikuer had one in Demon Slayer 1887. But it's the first frankensprite I've seen of it, indeed.
EDIT:
Sometimes all the dakka is not enough until you realize you need a Thompson AM1A80. =P

There's also a Lewis Gun in the Serious Sam knockoff, Will Rock, as a rather commonly used weapon, seen here at 1:56.GAA1992 wrote:Willikuer had one in Demon Slayer 1887. But it's the first frankensprite I've seen of it, indeed.
It's a cool and quirky machine gun from WWI, often used on fighter planes. I first saw it in High Road to China.

Nice voxel models. It's a shame that GZDoom only renders these in flat colors without light sources.tsukiyomaru0 wrote:Planning on making a whole IWAD (probably) inspired by Nier Automata's hacking minigame, except with its own story, featuring powerups and...Spoiler:

The second version of the Thompson AM1A80:
(Sgt. Shivers, YukesVonFaust, edgymemester, JoeyTD, GhostKillahZero, ID software and GAA1992).
