where the mouse thumb resides.

Not sure why they needed a SECOND joystick where you tilt the whole damn mouse, but as long as that thumb stick is usable, I'll be mega happy with it.

That mouse looks pretty neat. I just hope it's extra joysticks are able to be used in GZDoom as I can definitely see how i can use this thing, Like for instance the Inventory system. no longer i would need to take my hand off the mouse and fiddle with the "[" and "]" keys just so i can select the item and use it via the "enter key" risking my characters life for only a few moments.
All i'd have to do is Flick the analog stick with my thumb to select my item and either press the stick down "like one would do with the left stick on a controller in order to crouch" to use it or press down on the joystick shell in the mouse to use it.
I can also use it for several other things like maybe quick using an item, switch ammo types, or activating a tertiary attack/mode in a fight while still controlling my character with relative ease. also added bonus for having the two side buttons on the mouse. it would also prevent the keyboard binding bloat that tends to happen from time to time.
But i guarantee that the costs for such a thing once it leaves kickstarter and if it's successful will be through the roof. however it would also pave the way for copycats who wish to jump on the bandwagon. either way it's probably going to be a few years before I will probably get my hands on one.

Thanks to the almost bog standard practice of including a rebinding driver management software, I can all but guarantee you those extra sticks can be just bound to buttons and used that way. They include one of those according to the campaign trailer.
