Re: [WIP] RetroShader =Computer Friendly!= Update 4
Normally I wouldn't post it here, but since this thread has been (needlessly) bumped, I can just as well write it without being scolded (I hope):
Rachael's shader for QZD 2.0.1 actually now also works with GZDoom 3.2.0, I guess due to recent QZD code merged into GZD. I have tried it today and it works like a charm. Just load it with any iwad, no additional parameters or config entries needed. This should also put an end to any "Please work on this again" beggings. Thanks a lot for your work, Rachael (and torridgristle for the original shader, ofc)!

Re: [WIP] RetroShader =Computer Friendly!= Update 4
I can't get this to work, is there something I have to do? I've been loading the mod by dragging and dropping the pk3 file onto the executable. is there some way to do this right or am I doing it right? I just can't find any new menu options on the lense distortion effect.Rachael wrote:An even newer update. This should work on QZDoom 2.0.1 (or latest devbuilds, as of this posting).

Try the one posted right above your reply - it shouldn't need any configuration at all. If it still doesn't work, please reply with what type of video card you have installed.

It should be noted that it does no longer modify the lens distortion effect.

Re: [WIP] RetroShader =Computer Friendly!= Update 4
Sorry to keep posting these but I came up with a solution to allow larger negative curve values without sending the menus off-screen. Now you can set 'Screen Curve' to "Visor" and increase the sliders: I like setting the X curve value to be ~62% of the Y curve

Re: [WIP] RetroShader =Computer Friendly!= Update 4
No problems! I don't want to step on any toes, it's just that I never got to try it before it lost compatibility, same as the bouncy shader. Though I could have just hoarded it to meeself

Thanks for making this! However, I prefer Rachael's older version from July 2017 since I like to have the ingame menu "clean".

Re: [WIP] RetroShader =Computer Friendly!= Update 4
Let me know if that works. It should even be more crispy than before
Edit: Added 1.1 for a little bugfix.

The previous versions with the menus don't seem to work anymore
at least, not for me, meaning I have to settle without a menu

This is the second report within a day of stuff I've worked on that's suddenly misbehaving. And I get no errors on my end either. Did the menuless version work for you Zenon?Zenon wrote:The previous versions with the menus don't seem to work anymore
