There's no reason why Droplets should mess with your sound...something else is at play here. Maybe a bad INI setting. What is snd_channels set to?Gideon020 wrote:Just load it, I don't need to extract it, yeah? Or do I need to rename this to a pk3? Because loading it in ZDL as a zip completely killed my sound for some reason.

Re: Droplets - Updated 01/04/2017
If you're using dev builds, replace the OpenAL.dll from the dev build with the one from the latest stable GZDoom. (3.1.0 currently)
The dev builds use an ancient version of OpenAL.dll that has some serious bugs, such as a crazy memory leak that can cause your computer to freeze in some circumstances. And if said memory leak doesn't make GZDoom instantly use up all the RAM it can get to, it'll usually kill your sound and start outputting messages saying OAL ran out of memory.

That...is exactly the message that appeared. Huh.phantombeta wrote:If you're using dev builds, replace the OpenAL.dll from the dev build with the one from the latest stable GZDoom. (3.1.0 currently)

Wait, why are GZDoom dev builds using a version from January 2016 while the stable build uses one from May of 2017?

The main video is gone, does anyone know what's going on? I'd rather not see this useful mod disappear into the depths of the internet to be forgotten..
I've reuploaded the "fixed" v15 and two older versions here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/26qi7jc8hb7nt ... s.zip?dl=0

I've spoken to SidDoyle's family and been advised he's okay, just on an extended work trip with no time/opportunity for Doom stuff. In the interest of archival I've I mirrored v14 and v15 on a github repo. Open for patches if you'd care to submit any fixes.

This is good news to hear, Caligari. At least we know he's been busy with other things.

I do not, although I wouldn't be opposed to a mod/admin doing so.

The blood in v15 fix in gzdoom 3.2 disappears within less than 15 seconds .i wonder if anyone made another patch to make it permanently stay?
Re: Droplets - Updated 01/04/2017
Would there happen to be a fix for the v15 HDcompat version available?

I do believe I reposted that to that thread earlier in it.
