am_cheat 2 player facing graphic

In Heretic you can see roughly which direction you're facing, but in Doom the player graphic only looks one direction (toward you or down, depending on your perspective.

In Heretic you're using "am_showthingsprites 3" - but you aren't using that in Doom.

It works fine for me.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that variable. Not sure why it wasn't set to 3 for Doom, is it settable with the menu interface, or just the console/cfg files?

Yes, it's settable under Automap options, I just don't remember which one it is.

Found it at the bottom selection

Automap options
-show things as sprites: rotated

Thanks again. Now if only the sprites were scale-able, they are large relative to the map. You can almost play by just looking at the map.
