It could be pink eye or could be just allergies.
Look into the mirror and look at your eye and see if its puffy or any redness. If you see any redness or pink starting to show that means you need to see your eye doctor right away and I know it hurts to not too rub your eye but try not too or you will make get it worse. Try taking some eye drops and see if it helps you out daring the night.

Just found out about a mac 1.066 beta version of Doom 2, which I couldn't find a direct reference to on the doom wiki
(At ~8 minutes 50 seconds)

Can anyone confirm this has been documented? Or if it's just an arbitrary number change of an existing build that's already been acknowledged?

The fun of dist upgrading a Linux Mint.. why does Linux updates always fail, even from virtually unused machines?

Edit: even better! after rebooting it never made it past the login screen. Time for a Linux reinstall..

I've never had this problem with Ubuntu except when doing 4-year upgrades (i.e. 12.04 to 16.04). Doing sequential upgrades always works just fine, though.

I recommend Ubuntu Mate since it's easier on resources though - it is a fork from before they did the Unity interface (which, personally, I hate).

I always go for rolling release distros to avoid stuff like that. Although with Arch some breakage can happen on major package updates, which you can always check news posts and the wiki for fixing.
