Well, I'm certainly proud of 'em, from how much that made me crack up.

Or was it just the fidget cube that was made for that?
They both primarily serve the purpose of keeping one's hands occupied (thus helping to prevent, y'know, fidgeting), but the spinner has the drawback of being a significant distraction in itself. The cube's less exciting to look at, so it has less of a risk of backfiring in that manner.

I don't have any, but if I did, I'd probably only get one. Maybe two. They're a neat little thing, but I don't understand the obsessive collecting; it's not like you can really do anything with a hundred of them that you couldn't do with half a dozen. Most of them aren't even appreciably different from one another.

I'm almost ashamed to say that my city had a Pog tournament yesterday.

Well thanks Cali, that got dark fast. :P

I don't really mind them (as long as they're not noisy and not being pushed in my face like "ooh look at this so cool"). Personally I prefer my Gripmaster for reducing the nail-biting and such.

they haven't hit my country yet, this is my first time hearing about them but I have a feeling in a few months they'll all be popping up on Ebay, under beds and in closets shrouded in dust and making way for the next craze.

What a waste of a perfectly good pun; They should have gone with "Apogalypse"! (Even "Pognarok" would have been better)

I personally dont care for them and don't see the appeal.
Though Im very amused by the people who get so upset when you mention it.
Its a toy, a piece of plastic that happened to get popular. There are bigger things to get fuckin upset about.
The only way i see a fidget spinner being dangerous is if you throw it at a guy really hard.

I would assume they've had similar events in the past, and those were used up.

if they are anything like beyblades they could be lethal, I remember those things if you unleashed them very fast and then try to pick them up while spinning, they'd be red hot and slice up ya fingers.
