On top of that, the FG42 replaces the plasma rifle, leaving no available weapon to use the StG ammo that replaces cells. Another oddity is that the Enfield doesn't drain it's clip when SV_INFINITEAMMO is on when the other weapons do.

The infinite ammo support was just causing too many problems with the way I wanted it to reload. I never really was able to make much sense of DavidPH's alterations to the reload system.
As for the others...well, shit! =P

As for resources(Mainly textures) what did you plan on using?Laz's textures from his projects?
Came across this when I was rummaging through Wolf3D Dome
My first TC
This was my first Wolf 3D TC, did it back when I was still on Doomworld. I would like to apologize weasel, I believe the face on the statbar was from one of your wads and I never gave you credit for it.But that aside, I was going to say I can revamp Map06 for the community project. I believe that I have gotten better as a mapper since then. Also if you wanted to snatch up the Nazi Flamethrower guy,Science Officer(SS guard with the mask), and the Scientist(Recolored Blakestone scientist) and use it for the sole purpose of the Community project then by all means. I would like to throw my lot in on this idea as well.
EDIT:Also, to anyone who tries this...forgive my horrible dehacked skills.

Alright, I'd like to ask the community, what weapons would you like to see in the ww-nazis community project? Me-too effect be damned - smart level authors can opt to only provide the player with one particular weapon for a specific role.
Ideas:
Ideas:
- More Allied weapons? Some have asked about including a Colt M1911A1 and a Thompson M1A1 - perhaps I could reintroduce the original M1 Garand as well (as featured in the abandoned WW-Basic Necessities mod for Skulltag).
- Russian weapons, perhaps? The PPSh-41 would certainly provide an interesting new weapon, to serve as a low-power suppression/stun-locking/spray-and-pray weapon, and the PTRS anti-tank rifle would be a pretty awesome boss-killer.
- More British weapons? The Sten and Bren could be pretty cool.

The PTRS would make an interesting addition.

Maybe add in a MG-42, maybe a Solothurn S-18/100 (both stationary weapons) though I guess unless you are planning to add in tank based units I guess the Solothurn might be a tad bit overpowered.

I would really like to see more allied *and* russian weapons, the russian ones more so.
Would really like a PPSh-41 and PTRS.

Nix the Solothurn, really no need in having a gun that clunky.
Why use a PTRS?Just use a SKS instead.Bouncy wrote:I would really like to see more allied *and* russian weapons, the russian ones more so.

Re: community project idea: maps for ww-nazis
The SKS wasn't issued to troops for very long and only really entered service towards the very end of the war. The idea of including the PTRS is mainly for its capacity as a boss killer, since it fires the massive 14.5x114mm armor piercing round.Captain Proof wrote:Why use a PTRS?Just use a SKS instead.
Perhaps for purposes of balancing out such a massive gun, I could instead make it a PTRD, which fires the same cartridge but is single-shot breech loading instead of magazine-fed.

Hm...what would it do?I guess you can give it regenerative properties(not one big boost like the Berserker Pack, but a gradual increase).

Sounds like a good idea.Almost like a BFG equivalent(without the mass destruction)wildweasel wrote:The SKS wasn't issued to troops for very long and only really entered service towards the very end of the war. Re: community project idea: maps for ww-nazis
Mecha-hitler was always, for me, a canon punch-in-the-face. I would've found a more magically-oriented final battle much more interesting. (As it is I'd prefer to pretend it never happened.
)
Of course, the confrontation in itself is of debatable "good idea-ness". I often wonder if his suicide did more for the Allied effort than a successful assassination would have.
The Spear could also be a hidden item (found in one place in the game) with some kind of powerful but costly effect. I'm not sure if WW is doing anything with inventory stuff, though.

See I disagree if you take a look at the other fascinating mechanisms that the Reich had planned or where presently working on.(check out the bit about the Landcruiser)NeuralStunner wrote:Mecha-hitler was always, for me, a canon punch-in-the-face.
