Is there a way to change PLAYPALs or COLORMAPs on the fly, during the game? Or different colormaps for different sectors?

edit: Damn, top of the page, should post an interesting screenshot of somekind but I'm all out at the moment :P

To answer your question, no. I think it's even been feature-suggested and declined, but I'm open to correction.

That is amazing. This may be the reason I will delve into eDuke modding. :D I really hope this project gets finished because I really want to play it!

I love the first person swaying effects going on. Love the weapon sprite lag as the view moves around, also love the strafe view tilting. I hope you don't mind me attempting to replicate it for a project of mine. :D I got the view tilting covered with my custom SetActorRoll() ACS function and A_SetRoll codepointer... but the weapon lag... I'm not sure how to approach yet. Maybe I can adapt Ryan Cordell's GunOffset features from Tower of Babel.

Also, I guess I am flattered that those old nashgore blood pools are seeing use outside of the Doom community. :D

Can't wait to play it! Please finish the project!

The only thing is that it could do with a few more varieties of monsters (just a suggestion), but it's still amazing anyway.

Will it require a copy of DN3D, or is it a stand-alone mod, like AMC TC?

Hey man, if you want to check out eDuke, go for it. There's usually pretty helpful people like JBlade or DT or myself hanging around there, and the community could always use a bit more activity. As far as the weapon lagging and the enhanced swaying go, those are actually the only two blocks of code in the entire project that I had to borrow from someone else, so it'd be a dick move for me to say I do mind :lol:

I want to put in some more enemies, but I'm having trouble finding something that'll fit the project's style. Maybe I'll think of something, but even if I don't I'm happy with the way things are right now.

Well that's a shame. That would be really nice to see fancy weapon lag in Nash's zombie project (well, I'm assuming that's the project he intended to use it for...).

Globe was kind enough to share the script with me, though, not knowing anything about Duke3D's scripting language, it was rather confusing... anyway, after some brainstorming, I have figured out how to do a ZDoom implementation... using GetPlayerInput() and Ryan Cordell's APROP_GunOffsetX/Y code...
