Yes, I've just tested it and there are some oddities.

Firstly, in Doom 2, the menu screens get the skull icon to show which option is being selected. However, Heretic and Hexen do not get this skull icon.
Secondly, in Doom 2, when the screenblocks variable is set to 10 you get the Doom statusbar, and at 11 you get the Kriegsland HUD. But with Heretic and Hexen there is no statusbar at screenblocks of 10, though the Kriegsland HUD does show up at screenblocks of 11.

This was on GZDoom 3.1.0a.

Hey man. I tried a quick skirmish against bots on Zandronum 3.0 and the bomberchuss kills the opponents but doesn't count as frags for the player.

Certain dog sprites don't show up in the game but there sprites are in the proper files. how do I fix this?

Hmmm, that's strange. There are three dogs in the game. You mean there are unused files or some dogs become invisible in-game? I'll get to look into that.

yeah the sprites are in the correct file directory (being the sprites folder ) but when I play the game its like there missing there sprite but they can still attack me.

until then would I be able to delete the hunds file/text document to just get rid of dogs until there's a fix?

never mind I've discovered that the problem lies in the fact that I extracted the raw files from the pk3 file and just ran the raw file with gzdoom instead of using the pk3 file

I could suggest a lot of them, but here are some that come into my mind:

-Going Down
-Vanguard
-Plutonia 2/ Plutonia Community Project
-JPCP
-DCMP 1 & 2
-Maps of Chaos
-Equinox
-Masters of Chaos(Heretic Mapset)
-2002: A Doom Odyssey (needs Doom 1)
-Zones of Fear

And i can't think many much more ATM... Have a good gameplay.

Also, for the news sake. Kriegsland isn't being worked at the moment, but i had some new ideas for next update, and those include:

-more grenades in player start (3 or 5, nothing too much)
-Bonbenschuss that can frag in Deathmatch (file is fixed over here)
-more enemies
-removal of fancy terrain effects, for the sake of compatibility

But the most important of all: There's a Kriegsland Enemies Pack in a WIP Status. Ain't hard to do it, but needs a good organization and playtesting before i release it as an separate add-on.

GAA1992, Mind if i add a few more recommendations this is only based on what I have used with Kriegsland.

(STUFF I RECORDED OVER A STREAM OR AS A ONLINE VIDEO)
Wolfendoom's Astrostein 1 - Playable but Noclip might be required to get the key on a certain level, can't remember the map number but it involved entering this chute to get the yellow key. However I would recommend not getting hit as much considering health is scarce.

Epic 1 - I find the levels fit well thematically with Kriegsland. Nazis , Ancient Artifacts and a lot of killing makes it feel like RTCW or any of the Later Wolfenstein games.

(Stuff that I have played with Kriegsland to an extent, but I have played to completion)

Hell Revealed
Icarus - Alien Vanguard
Alien Vendetta - "if you want a challenge"
Community Chest 1 - i have only played this CC to completion, I should feel very ashamed of myself I should play the others to completion.
Mayhem 2048 - Megawads with a self-imposed limits as a theme really play nice with this IMO but to each his own.

Also About that monsters only pack I would not mind having a go at it. of course when it comes out but I can wait.

This afternoon i've played Kriegsland with the Vanguard mapset and Contra Music and noticed the Health Upgrader isn't working. Nobody warned me about this issue, so i fear it might be my GZDoom (3.2) over here. In any case, i got it fixed and i am going to upload as soon as i gather more things to work on. Now, to the answers:

Yes! Sorry i haven't remembered. Not only the first but all three episodes of Astrostein are very well fit too. Thank you for your suggestions, i think i am going to imitate TerminusEst13 and going to make a "Recommended Maps" section :p

I wish i've could, but Hexen has a very very very limited arsenal. Flakes Doom gone through this, and i had to pick the most reliable weapons of the pack. So, unless there's a good formulae for this, i'll keep it that way. Games that might be modified, but i haven't started yet are the Chex Quest series and Hacx 2.0, which would be a nice addition to the compatibility list. :)

SO GUYS, i felt like sunday would be a good day to upload the new Kriegsland version, so you could have some fun before returning into Monday.

Goodie goodie news! The enemies pack is released! Now you can blast down your favorite nazis with many weapon mods! I will make a "recommended mods/maps" ASAP, but, if you want my advice, Highway to Hell, High Noon Drifter, Final Doomer, Led's Personal Mod and Weapons of Saturn are extremely good choices! :p

I also will add a little poll on the thread.

POLL IS ADDED! Please answer it, boys and girls!

I've playtested the enemies mod with several weapon mods, and I found them dying really easily in just a few shots. Maybe buff their health a bit?
