Fatal Error Code C0000005 when using Linedef Action 1024

Postby LPad » Wed Mar 23, 2022 11:21 pm

Hello, I think I found a bug... I have a problem with GZdoom when using this particular 1024 action (Scroll Wall with Same Tag using Sidedef Offsets). I checked that removing the lines that use it makes the game run normally. Also I checked using different renderers and switching between OpenGL and Vulkan and the problems seem to appear in both. I tried running the map I'm building in DSDA and it runs flawlessly, so it doesn't seem to be a map problem.
I'm using the last version of GZDoom (4.7.1).
I'll include both the crash report and the error message, just in case

The crashy map would be really helpful here. Much moreso than the crash log itself (which is still useful as a last resort)

Here's the map

If you also need the texture pack, it is this one
https://esselfortium.net/wasd/32in24-15_tex_v2.zip

Linedefs 7112, 7113 and 7119, all of them around [-1728, -832] are the ones using action number 1024.

The map starts without GZDoom crashing with 4.8pre-240-g254da4b76 (a month-old development build), but it does indeed crash in 4.7.1, yes.

I wonder if the issue is the same as this one...

Very likely - that special was a bit broken.
