That is caused by the renderradius being too small for the sectors being drawn when in Software rendering mode.

Since the screen is drawn in batches, the entire scene is split into columns depending on how many processor threads that are available, in order to optimize rendering. To fix this, the mod needs to define a bigger renderradius for that tree.

This is not a problem that can be easily fixed on GZDoom side.

The solution would be to set a larger renderradius using Decorate or ZScript.

If strict Boom compatibility is required and you absolutely cannot use Decorate or ZScript, simply upping the actor's radius will work as well.
