So is this bug even around then? Apparently you need to restart the engine for it to take effect.

I have no idea what it is then. The camera textures are explicitly being disabled from being upscaled. Maybe running a VRAM wasting configuration on a card with insufficient VRAM?

I was able to get it to not work.

By basically restarting the engine with the hqNX MXX on 4x, I got it to do it.

So the bug does exist. Why it happens is beyond me. It's not 'smearing it' badly. It's just blank.

I'm updating the still open thread with the new information so it's not lost.

Yeah, that's the important tidbit that was missing. The engine needs to be started with active scalers. It's a setting I keep disabled but when toggling it the problem does not occur.

What chiseled my brain for quite a while was I had 2 profiles for the same game ACM.

1. Singleplayer profile with everything enabled including ScaleNx 2X

2. Coop profile with everything enabled apart from the HQ Resize which was all disabled.

Both profiles were for testing purposes, I couldn't figure out why only the Coop profile worked and not SP? I honestly bashed my head against the walls for months believing it was a coop script error or something?

I did edit every setting but as you know, the engine needs a restart, you cant write this, it killed me having 1 profile working, mind boggling.

Great work as always!!! Can't thankyou enough!!!!!
