[Won't change] 4.5 morph ovum is given in Hexen

When using "give all" cheat, the morph ovum is given to the player. Not sure if this is worth fixing because technically it's gotten from a cheat, but it did create some confusion for me because I thought the morph ovum was broken at first as the projectiles were invisible and morphed enemies were invisible - I'd simply forgotten that Hexen used a Porkalator and turned enemies into pigs (in other words, it's a separate item altogether). But anyway, I thought I'd report it.

AFAIR this bug is present in vanilla Hexen, except in this case the morph ovum simply doesn't do anything. I might be misremembering here, though.

Not saying it shouldn't be fixed, but just something to consider.

The cheat decides by sprite presence what item to give. Ans Hexen.wad contains an egg sprite so you will get it.

Only way to fix that would be to have some archive manager hack to erase the egg sprites from Hexen.wad.

Is the egg actually used for anything in Hexen, or was it some leftover from the Heretic IWAD?

It's a leftover.

@Gez: No, won't do - what if someone supplies the chicken assets to make the egg work? Such mods would break by hacking it out.
