ZScript Error in gzdoom.pk3

Post by Daryn »

I updated GZDoom last night to 4.4.2. Now when I open up GZDoom Builder I get this at the top of my errors.

Code: Select all

ZSCRIPT error in "gzdoom.pk3\zscript\actors\actor.zs", line 334. Expected modifier or name, got <Token.OpenCurly ({)>.
I went and had a look inside the pk3, but I'm not seeing anything but a bunch of property definitions.

The game does load up fine, but this error is causing GZDoom Builder to stop parsing and throw up a couple hundred more errors relating to missing classes.

Having been away from things for a long time, I completely missed the change from GZDBB to UDB. Since nothing went awry until I updated GZDoom, that's what I thought the cause to be. Didn't realize an entire change of guard had taken place.

I'll be more careful next time.
