See here. When Vulkan is enabled and GZDoom is started with a "-loadgame" command line parameter, the screen doesn't fade in from black like with OpenGL. Instead, the screen stays frozen for a couple seconds displaying the same image, and then the actual game starts. Either the fade-in sequence should be fixed for Vulkan, or the delay should be removed if the former is not possible.
Tested with GZDoom 4.1.3.
