So, kinda an odd bug here. (Tested on 4.1 as well as gzdoom-x64-g4.2pre-6-g8d36f0a0c)
GZDoom will crash with "Failed to submit command buffer" if you enable Vulkan, use "Doom Software Renderer" (or any other software renderer, including Softpoly), start a new game (e.g. MAP01 of Doom 2) and then cycle through the resolution scales within the menu. If you disable Vulkan, this won't happen.
This also does not happen with Vulkan enabled and the renderer set to "Hardware Accelerated".
Windows 10 64-Bit, October Update 2018
Vulkan device: GeForce GTX 1080
Vulkan device type: discrete gpu
Vulkan version: 1.1.95 (api) 425.44.0 (driver)
