(Tested on g3.7.1 and g3.8pre-72-g3b77e2db6).
Weapon cycling doesn't work properly with weapons powered up by Heretic's Tome of Power. Selecting a specific weapon with the number keys does work, but attempting to cycle through with the "weapprev" and "weapnext" controls will result in the player selecting Slot 7 and Slot 1, respectively.
The easiest way to replicate this is to start up Heretic and use the "give weapons" and "give artitomeofpower" commands.
