Strange, now after quitting and loading the savegame the floor is solid, but i killed the monsters first. Tested with g3.7.1_legacy BTW.

Sector #544 is raised by line #7432. I don't think this line can be avoided without jumping. Even if it can, this is not GZDoom problem anyway.
