With the last few versions of AMD Adrenalin software the enemies have been invisible.
A helpful redditor found that on the latest version of AMD software 18.9.3 it's not working, but when using GZDoom build 2.0.05 everything seems to work just fine, the issue appears at GZDoom 2.1.0 the issue begins.
I searched the forums and couldn't find a mention of this.

Re: Invisible Enemies on AMD video cards
Sounds like this issue, which is pinned to the top of Technical Issues. There has been some investigation into it, and it appears it's AMD's fault - reverting to older drivers (version 18.6.1 or earlier) fixes the problem for now.

Last thing I heard it's an over-optimization in AMD's compiler. AMD has to fix AMD bugs. This problem does not present on Mesa, Intel, or NVidia drivers. You know who that leaves left.
