It's no longer needed. I halted the refactoring for an indefinite amount of time. All this was done to separate the GL renderer into a legacy and a modern multithreaded version.Rachael wrote:@ doomed: it's irrelevant, now, please let's just encourage him to use a new branch, instead.
But my tests with multithreading gave some extremely clear signs that it's not going to work out the way I planned. So unless I get that sorted out there's no point doing more work here.
