Yes, seems like it. :(

I looked into that weird compatibility profile thing. The debugger revealed that we ask for a Core Profile and Intel agrees and returns a GL context. But then when we ask what profile mask we got via glGetIntegerv(GL_CONTEXT_PROFILE_MASK) it reports that its a compatibility profile.

In other words: yet another Intel bug. Not even create context could they get right..
