When using the sky hack with portals and an on-map skybox (I'm going for a floating island effect), the bottom portal seems to display the normal skybox on the walls where the sky hack is. However, the effect does not occur if the method of simply deleting the texture on the wall is used instead of the traditional skyhack (though this obviously causes HOMs in software).

A clear case of 'Don't Do That'!
You cannot use hacks in the same area as portals, this will inevitably fail.

So uh... what exactly should I do if I want a skybox on the wall in both portal areas...?
