That has got to be one of the funniest things I've seen on these forums - a smiley in the stack dump.

Well, that's one down and zero to go on ideas I had. And usually I'm so uberperceptive, too.

Everything but MAP01 works, no matter which wad MAP01 comes from? What if you rename MAP01 to something else? Can you take your MAP01 out of your wad, put it in a new wad by itself, and send it to me?

Rats, I posted something yesterday on this, but I guess it got lost. I delved into the dump but now don't remember what it was trying to do. Anyway, for diagnostics:

1. put a fresh unpack of ZDoom 2.0.60 (with accompanying zdoom.wad and fmod.dll) in a new directory
2. copy doom2.wad in there
3. go there and run ZDoom.

If that crashes, you have a machine that needs to be shot in the head. Otherwise, start adding things back in (skins directory, bots, etc.) until it fails again.

You might also try recopying doom2.wad off your CD, since it sounds like it may have gotten corrupted.
