I would like to know what is the priority is for the bots. I keep having the problem of the bots going after items more then fighting monsters in co-op, and in DM they will get stuck behind objects like trees, or others, trying to get at items.

I think the priority should be changed so that monsters, and enemies count first, and items second. I also think some kind of feature that makes the bots seek a way around a non-functional object rather then get stuck behind it when it is trying to get an item

All of the bot AI code was done separately and not by Randy, who coded ZDoom. I doubt he has any interest in touching the existing bot code for the time being.

Maybe I can get the bots from Skull Tag once Carnevil has them done. :-)
