i think people keep getting 1.22 cause they get confused seeing the lars directory. (which one is the right one???)

you need to make a link directly to the bleeding edge build...

There is. It's right on the top of the downloads page. Speaking of which, he might want to add Strife to the list of wads you can use an iwad from.

there is no link directly to a 2.0 release on the downloads page, there's a link to the lars directory, which is exactly what bio hazard just said

Well, I think you'd have to be pretty close to braindead to get confused about that...
"Contains the executable for Win32 platforms (Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP) and data files. Documentation hasn't been updated since ZDoom 1.22 yet (sorry), so it's not included. This is just a directory where you can look for the very latest version. You can find the executable inside numbered cab files. For instance, 49.cab contains ZDoom 2.0.49." And then a link to a folder with files named 53.cab and such. Hmmmmmmm.... if people can't handle reading three lines of text I doubt they'd manage to find a way to download the bleeding edge build either.

I think you're making a false assumption that people actually read the description

.
That all said and done, by now the ZDoom community is quite international in nature
and for a lot of our members, the english language is quite difficult. For them, every little bit helps.

Since it doesn't yet offer full support I don't think it should be added just yet.

Okay, this is on the download page of sourceforge,
but certainly not on the homepage at zdoom.org
