My God, what have I done?

Postby Wiw » Thu Jul 08, 2021 7:57 am

I've been reviewing the comments made on Blade of Agony, and only now did I realise that, as a partial playtester, I let some terrible things slip through. Not just the barman thing, I had no idea about that, but things like the pre-release builds actually referencing Dachau by name. I am so terribly sorry, I let it happen right under my nose. I don't even know why, Torm's only annoyed us and put himself in a position where Sgt Mark IV can compare himself to him! If I'd caught on sooner, perhaps this could all have been avoided... or maybe not, who can say?

I'm sorry...

P.S. I want my name taken off the credits.

I've merged Wiw's new thread into the BoA thead.

When a topic is locked, that means the topic is closed. It is not an invitation to make new topics about the issue. This discussion has been hashed over extensively already. If you feel the need to make a public apology, wait until the discussion is re-opened.

[Wolfenstein: Blade of Agony] v3.1 released (p204)

Postby chronoteeth » Sun Jul 11, 2021 11:21 pm

its good to see the chances happen, but it only happened thru people pointing them out, and esp after being called out about throwing your other staff under the bus a lot. dont care if it stirs up stuff, for as fun as this is, this still makes me a bit uncomfortable to play. theres a lot of personal stuff and a lot of ego stuff that needs to be addressed personally because this outlook and response has happened a lot in your other projects when people critiqued you. good on you doing the right thing at the least.

Well, mistakes have been made, nobody’s perfect and the days back then had been very emotional for me. Being emotional makes you do stupid things, and I can’t excuse for that.

All I can say is (and I hope that this makes the topic end now): This whole thread is about entertainment and the dedication of many people working hard on a game for over 6 years. Play it and enjoy it, don’t let it go to waste just because you don’t like me in person ;)

Tormentor fucked up. We get it. He apologized. This forum isn't the place for that now, it's been hashed out from here to the opposite end of the fucking world. From here on out, anyone else who makes a post about this will be getting a warning. This topic is done now. It's ancient history.

Nobody says you have to, just keep it out of this forum.
