The 2019 Cacowards (the Can We Please Not? split)

Any sane person would make such a map for Boom. The people who would use this stuff are probably more the kind to point fingers and say "That port is not Doom".
Well, not my problem. I also didn't bother making lilith work with GZDoom, why should I bother about these semi-broken maps then?`

Not everything of vanilla doom has to be 100% emulated, especially when it requires a buffer overflow or abnormal hacks. Its a neat quirk and a testament that even 20+ years later we're still learning things about the engine. I don't think its something to worry about. Besides, since when has gzdoom opted for faithfulness to vanilla anyway? :P

While not 100% related to the 2019 cacowards, here's some numbers on (G)ZDoom-specific mods in the cacowards:

2008: 6 (1 TC)
2009: 3?
2010: 5
2011: 2 (one of them is Brutal Doom)
2012: 6?
2013: 4 (5 if you count Samsara, which was made for Zandronum)
2014: 4? (1 TC, 1 addon for a TC (for AD2: Urban Brawl))
2015: 3
2016: 4 (1 TC)
2017: 7 (1 is lilith, so standalone)
2018: 9 (2 are standalone, 1 TC)
2019: 9 (1 standalone, 1 TC, 1 practically TC)

Made at 4 AM or so. Hopefully I didn't miss any or count any that weren't by accident. (ones with question marks are because I'm not 100% sure on the count)

What bitterness? He simply stated a fact - if he didn't make lilith (which actually targetted ZDoom) work with GZDoom, why should he bother making a gross hack for vanilla work in GZDoom?
The only one who seems bitter here is you, trying to bring up drama just because someone said something tangentially related to it.
