greatttt. this is great idea for my project. since ill slow down player speed. like in skyrim. and its best for openworld mods. i think this is nice. i just dont need the sprite. ?

can i ask why changes are made to the engine like this that basically obliterates backwards compatibility for older mods?

i know the whole "well if they did it the right way" rhetoric is easy to point to here...but GZDOOM is turning into a VERY finicky engine, that is growing increasingly hard to work with, and increasingly slower with every update.
im wondering why you would make it stop execution instead of continuing to ignore the error?
