Tread-based security robot
I want to include something like the AGR from Black Ops 2, or the Small Security Bots from Deus Ex, but there's a lack of such sprites out there, I don't want to include models (because it's a doom project)
https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/deu ... -prefix=en (Deus Ex)
https://callofduty.fandom.com/wiki/A.G. ... a_BOII.png (Bo2)
Whether it be a custom sprite set, frankensprites, or rendering (and processed to fit with doom, paletteization, pixellated, etc) or a directions to a ZDoom project (or otherwise) with such a thing would be fine.

Re: Tread-based security robot
You could use the pig cop tank from DN3D, scaled dowj, as a start. If you cover the front window you have a nice little tracked robot Just a thought.
Re: Tread-based security robot
I quickly threw this together, it's the security bot from Deus Ex at 2x scale, in Truecolor.

Re: Tread-based security robot
Any possibility of getting some sprites of the mini-spiderbot too?
Re: Tread-based security robot
I will look into it.
Re: Tread-based security robot
It looks unlikely that I will do the spiderbot since can't figure out how to export .3d model animation frames.

Re: Tread-based security robot
Supposedly you can brute extract animations using Tack's Deus Ex Mesh Tool or something called WOTgreal, but I'm not an Unreal 1/Deus Ex modder, so I wouldn't really have a clue.
Re: Tread-based security robot
The main problem would be to get these into 3D Studio Max or Blender, which is only possible by FBX conversion or a dedicated plugin. I will look into it though, thanks for the tip.

Spiderbot from Deus Ex in truecolor.
spiderbot.zip
Archive includes frame info and 1x and 2x resolution versions.
Animations include walking, melee, firing, pain, and death.
This model had to be rigged and animated from scratch which was surprisingly quite fun since I never animated a crab-like model before. Took me about 2 1/2 hours total.

Re: Tread-based security robot
Wait, you've been animating all these ported models too? That's pretty impressive and cool.
Once again thanks! you're godlike for these!
